Amy Miller, 87, died April 11 at the Dassel Lakeside Community Home where she had been a resident for fourteen years. Services were conducted April 13 from Gethsemane Lutheran Church, Dassel, with the Rev. Joel Swedberg officiated at the service. Mrs. Leslie Benson was the soloist, and Mrs. Florine Osness was the organist. Pallbearers were Edward Miller, James Miller, Harris Miller, Daniel Miller, Torey Miller, and Jack Nelson. Interment was in Steelesville Cemetery, rural Dassel.

Amy Ruth Miller was born Feb. 9, 1898, in Dassel Township, Meeker County, Minnesota. Her parents were Henry and Nettie Miller. She had resided for more than 10 years with the Emil Bartres family in Darwin before becoming a resident of Dassel Lakeside Community Home. Her earlier years were spent in Minneapolis and Anoka. She was preceded in death by brothers, Walter, Charlie, William, Ambrose, Herman, and sisters, Anna, Esther, Mable and Florence.
