Obituary - Ingeborg (Hansdotter) Peterson (Person)

Ingeborg Peterson, age 58 years and 3 months, passed away August 19, 1889. She was born May 20, 1830, to Hans Pehrsson and Marina Jacobsdotter in Lima, Dalarna, Sweden, and was baptized the same day. Ingeborg married Bergevall Johannes Person (aka John B Peterson) in Sweden. Together they emigrated from Fahlu (Falun, Dalarna), Sweden to America in May of 1869 on the ship Eugenia, with St. Paul, MN as their destination. They settled in Collinwood Township, where she lived the rest of her days. Ingeborg and John were received into the Swedish Lutheran church membership September 20, 1873. Her husband survives her. Ingeborg was buried in the Steelesville Cemetery. Blessed be her memory.
