Birth info. taken from the June 15th 1900 census. It states they have been married 40 years and she immigrated to the US in 1872. They lived in Chippewa County and she had 11 children, 6 are living. After her death, her husband lived with son Alfred. Alfred was a mail carrier and moved to Collinwood by 1920. Children found in census records are: Augusta, Bendina, Josephine, Alfred, Hulda, Alice. Death records have her in Meeker county at the time of her death, not sure why since they lived in Chippewa. Family only lived in Collinwood a short time, not sure why they are buried here. Immigrated in 1870. Every record I have found has her name listed as Louisa.
The following was reported in the Lake Jennie News found in the Litchfield Saturday Review dated Feb. 25, 1905:
"Mrs. Swan Anderson after many weeks of patient suffering, quietly passed away Sunday night. She leaves a husband, one son, four daughters, and many friends to mourn her loss."
"I am not sure this is the same person, but....."
