Rites held for E. Christopherson

Emma Christopherson, 93, Dassel, died on August 1, at the Dassel Lakeside Home. Funeral services were held from the Johnson Funeral Home on August 3 with the Rev. Dr. Walter Carlson, pastor of the First Lutheran Church in Dassel, officiating. C. W. Johnson was the soloist and Mrs. Rodney Nelson, pianist. Interment was in Steelesville Cemetery. Pallbearers were Harry N. Olson, John Swanson, John Rosander, J. W. Miller.

Emma Christopherson was born on May 22, 1881, in Minneapolis, a daughter of Olaf and Sarah Christopherson. She moved to Dassel with her parents in 1882. She was baptized and confirmed at the First Lutheran Church in Dassel. She had resided for most of her life in the Dassel community except for a time when she was a resident of the Red Castle Home in Litchfield. For the past five years she had been a resident of the Dassel Lakeside Home.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Joseph; and two sisters, Annie and Sarah.
