Mrs. Elsa Melgaard, wife of Peter E. Melgaard of Pigeon Lake, died suddenly at her home on Tuesday morning of heart failure. She had been ill for some time and was getting along nicely until Tuesday morning, when she had a sinking spell and expired before medical help could be summoned. She was about 54 years of age and leaves a husband, three daughters and one son to mourn her loss, and to whom the sympathy of the community is extended.
