Funeral services were held Tuesday, 2 p.m. from the First Lutheran Church, Dassel, for Mark Steven Peterson, 22-month old son of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Peterson, who passed away at the Meeker County Memorial Hospital, Litchfield, on Friday, March 16, following a day's illness.
Dr. Oscar O. Gustafson, pastor of the church officiated at the funeral services and songs were sung by Mrs. Lawrence Freeman and Mrs. Franz Guhl was organist. Pallbearers were Alan Peterson, Douglas Peterson, Bruce Peterson and Harlan Terning. Interment was in Steelesville Cemetery.
Mark Steven Peterson was born June 5, 1954 at Litchfield, Minnesota. He was baptized on Sunday, July 25, 1954 at the First Lutheran Church, Dassel.
Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Peterson, one brother, Lee, his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Sjoquist and Herman Peterson of Dassel, great grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. William Tiller, Riverwood, Oregon, and many other relatives.
