Emma died in all probability prior to 1893, when there is a new Emma Elisaabeth in the Erickson family. The First Lutheran Gethsemane Church records do not have funeral records for the years in this time frame.

Baptized July 31, 1888 at First Lutheran Gethsemane Church, Dassel, MN (found on page 436 of 563 in Ancestry.com records). On page 334 of 563 there is a notation "death" on Emma's line, but no date. In that same list is another daughter named Emma Elisabeth born September 21, 1893. Presumably, Emma (1888) has died prior to Emma Elisabeth's birth.
