Funeral Held for Mrs. W. Bergquist of Dassel Community
Funeral services were held last Friday afternoon, March 19 from the Holm Funeral Chapel and from the First Lutheran church for Mrs. Walter Bergquist, who died March 16 at the Litchfield Hospital. The Rev. Philip A. Leaf officiated. Pallbearers were six nephews of the deceased, Ted, Hilmer, Alrick, Arvid, Willard and Kenneth Bergquist. Interment was made in the Steelesville cemetery.
Anna Aurora Nordstrom was born in Sweden on January 17, 1880, coming to America in 1909. She was united in marriage to Walter Bergquist in 1911. They had lived in the Steelesville community since that time. She is survived by her husband, one son, Clarence, a daughter, Mrs. Arnold Berg, and a sister and a brother.
